Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site.  Onley Baptist Church is a vibrant and friendly Southern Baptist Church, located at 25501 West Main Street in the town of Onley, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.  I have had the privilege to Pastor this wonderful group of people since January 2000 and have seen God do many exciting things during this time.

I want to personally invite you to join us for worship at Onley Baptist Church.  Don't worry about what to wear.  Whether it is blue jeans or a coat and tie, you will fit in and feel welcome.  We seek to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth as we study His word and apply it to our everyday lives.

We have Sunday School for all ages each Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m.  Our Worship Service starts at 11:00 a.m.  On Wednesday evenings at 6:15 p.m., we have our children's ministry, "Treasure Cove."  We also have Youth Group and adult bible studies at 6:30 p.m.

If you have any questions after surfing this site, please feel free to contact us.  I look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
